Breakout Session 3 - Refugees Welcome: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

Joan Rosenhauer, executive director of Jesuit Refugee Service/USA, and Patience, a former refugee and current advocate, will share the story of Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) as it commemorates 40 years of accompanying, serving, and advocating for refugees and displaced people. Patience, who received services from JRS as a child, will share how JRS supported her family during their time of displacement and how today we can create a culture of welcome for refugees here in the United States and abroad.
