Notes from the Field writing program

One of GSR's goals is to help young people become more aware of social justice issues and ministries that women religious lead. To address that goal, GSR would like to continue to include first-person reports on its website from those working with sisters in its weekly Notes from the Field blog. For the next round of Notes from the Field, we are seeking four volunteers who can contribute to GSR over a 16-week period beginning in March 2021. (We ask bloggers to write once every two weeks for a total of eight blog posts.) In addition to writers, we are open to photo or photo/video bloggers. Our ideal candidates are good thinkers, keen observers and confident writers and/or photographers. The minimum commitment for writers is a blog post of 800 to 1,000 words and at least four photos with captions every other week. For photographers and videographers, the blogs would contain several photos and captions or a video on a theme. Bloggers will be paid $200 for each post.
