Information

2020 is a critical year for climate action, and yet, 2020 has also been a year filled with pandemic, racial injustice and police brutality, injustice at the U.S.-Mexico border, and unprecedented wildfires and hurricanes. How do these overlapping crises connect, and how do we move forward to care for our common home amidst all of this turmoil?

Join this roundtable discussion with other high school students and staff to talk about your experience of this time and to share ideas for how we can help make connections between climate change and the other overlapping crises we have experienced this year. Participants will be invited to share how they are continuing to work on environmental justice issues despite the current challenges posed by COVID-19 and to brainstorm how we can work together to make environmental justice a reality across the Ignatian family.
