Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) Northwest engages individuals in a transforming experience of full-time service. Jesuit Volunteer/AmeriCorps members serve for a year or more in solidarity with people living on the margins of society and with fragile ecosystems in five states across Northwest: Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
Throughout the year, volunteers explore our core values of simple living, community, spirituality/reflection, and social and ecological justice.
Jesuit Volunteer/AmeriCorps members earn a modest living stipend and are eligible for the $6,345 AmeriCorps Education Award for future tuition or to pay back qualified student loans. Housing is provided.
